The complete destruction of the main streak were derminzted, at the busiest area "Hondori" near the hypocenter of the Hiroshima atomic bomb.

広島原子爆弾が炸裂して、広島市内の旧市街地では最も賑やかであった本通り筋を展望した。繁華街も見る影もなく全滅して全壊していた。左右に横切る電車道との交差点には路面電車が残骸となった。爆心地から約250mの安田生命の全焼したビルより中央付近では、帝国銀行のビルが残骸となった。
