The Nagasaki atomic bomb with great blasts and heat strokes caused the streetcar to derail and completely collapse where the dead bodies of immediate deaths were scattered.

長崎原子爆弾が炸裂した翌日の1945年8月10日における爆心地から南西約200mにて路面電車が被爆した。路面電車は、原子爆弾の爆風と熱射により脱線して完全に圧壊した。その崩壊した車内の乗車員はほんど全員が即死した。衣服は黒焦げになり、はみ出た身体が重度の壊死性の火傷で黒化した死体で散乱した。
