At Nagasaki Medical College, a large number of medical staff and students who died from an explosion by Nagasaki atomic bomb and their corpses of and rotted into mummies.

 長崎原子爆弾の爆心地から東南約700mにあった長崎医科大学は倒壊して全滅した。その中で多大な医療職員と学生等が被爆死した。鉄筋コンクリートは残存するも、多くの内部は全壊しして全焼した。救護されなかった死体が散在して、腐敗してミイラ化した。
